Bluebird Box

So I just got a bluebird box. We have them at school. They are for Eastern Bluebirds to nest in. (since they are cavity dwellers) I hung it up on a tree in my backyard. I am hoping something will nest in it soon. Once they do, you can monitor the box. (By the way, the tale that birds won't come back to their eggs if you get near them is fake.) Bluebirds used to be going extinct, but now they are doing pretty well. They still can be killed by sparrows for the boxes. Want to learn more? Chck out www.sialis.org
