Thousands
Shoved into this death trap.
Forced to become
unnoticeable.
Not a threat.
No longer their own.
Forced to be the same.
Forget their names,
their families
forget that life used to be anything but
dirtyness
cold
work
hunger
pain
death.
Forget everything!
They beat it into us .
And especially they want us
to forget hope.
But no matter how hard they try
how loud they scream
how terrible they treat us
how many of us they kill
We will not forget.
And the Holocaust has begun.
